Mindset

I'm a curious animal and I love solving puzzles.

As a child, I was more interested in taking things apart than putting them together. My father was really patient with me, looking at my passion not as a destruction, but curiosity. I just wanted to know what makes those things work!
Well, nothing much has changed. I still love to look inside things - systems, services or products. The main difference is, I'll bring back all together and make it work.

Home projects

Building real stuff at home is so refreshing. I love working with natural materials like stone and wood.

String time

Would be pretentious to say I play guitar. It's more of a therapy, especially during Canada's cold winters.

Gallup study strenght finder.

I was skeptical but it's prety amazing how well it captured my professional profile. More about the test.

Instinctively, you thirst for new ideas and knowledge. Often you lose yourself in a book. You pore over the ideas contained on its pages for long stretches of time. Why? You want to absorb as much information as you can. By nature, you prefer having quiet time to mull over ideas as well as read and examine interesting topics. Periods of uninterrupted thinking give you great pleasure. You probably excuse yourself from noisy, active, or distracting situations to thoroughly process your ideas. It’s very likely that you typically are an eager and willing student. You genuinely derive satisfaction from examining new sources of information. You often arrive at conclusions about how to make certain things better. Because of your strengths, you are diligent about examining what needs to be revamped, revised, modified, or fixed. It’s very likely that you naturally concentrate your physical and mental energies on doing whatever needs to be done right now. You have a natural gift for living in the moment. This explains why you need to produce meaningful results each day. Driven by your talents, you routinely expend extra energy to keep materials or workspaces neat, orderly, and shipshape. You deplore — that is, regard as unfortunate or wretched — the messes other people leave. This explains why you scurry about to clean up things left in disarray. Instinctively, you can mentally zero in on tasks for hours at a time when you have a goal to reach. When the assignment demands extra time, you would be wise to honor your body’s natural rhythms. In other words, if you are a “morning person,” work in the morning. Work in the afternoon if that is when you hit your stride. Work in the evening if that is when you think better. Work around midnight after everyone has gone to bed if you are someone who usually stays up very late. Because of your strengths, you derive much pleasure from honoring and praising individuals, especially when their good results are the fruit of hard work. You regularly go out of your way to notice their accomplishments, knowledge, skills, or talents. Just having someone notice these contributions encourages many people to use their gifts much more often. Chances are good that you usually work earnestly for an authority figure who takes an interest in you as a human being. You probably just do what is expected when teachers, coaches, or supervisors treat you like an underling, consider you hired help, or ignore you.
